Care Assistant - Care Home
About The Role
As a Care Assistant at a Darcy Gardens care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they receive the quality care and support they deserve. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living, providing support and companionship, as well as sharing meaningful moments and memories.
This role offers a fulfilling environment where every day brings variety. Tasks may involve:
- Supporting residents with food and drink and adhering to care plans
- Ensuring one-to-one time for each resident
- Utilising your skills in a meaningful and rewarding way, while also developing your career

Each position operates 33 or 44 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts covering:
- Days or nights
- Alternate weekend working
About You
To join us as a Care Assistant, you’ll need:
- Experience caring for older people
- A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- Empathy and a warm-hearted approach that naturally combines with compassion
- The ability to deliver the highest standard of care for all residents required
