Location: Canning Court Care Home, Canners Way, Stratford Upon Avon, CV37 0BJ

Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Day and night positions available | Alternate weekends required

About the Role

Working in one of our care homes will allow you to live out our person-centred care model, and be part of an extraordinary team supporting people to lead fulfilling, independent lives.

As a Care Assistant, you are at the heart of shaping everyday experiences for our residents, while playing an essential role in improving their emotional, social, and clinical well-being. Your enthusiasm, warmth, and dedication are just as vital as your commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Whether you are a seasoned care professional or someone new to the sector, you will find a supportive environment in which to grow. With opportunities for specialised training—including our advanced digital care systems—you’ll deliver standard-setting patient-care experiences.

Make a Difference, Grow with Us

We actively empower employees to learn from each other at every career stage. Our mission to transform the way we deliver care for people is only achievable with a professional team. Via ongoing training, mentorship, digital innovation (Franklins Assisted Safety System), and much more, you can find stability, skill development, and a vibrant workplace culture built on:

  • Proactive, compassionate care — residents are cared for wholeheartedly, consistently, and attentively
  • Collaborative teamwork — strengthened through a unity of purpose from cleaning staff to senior leadership
  • Career growth — opportunities for advancement into more senior roles

As part of a family of care homes, you’ll enjoy the independence of working across different sites, as well as the joy of relationships formed through working with the same residents for years.

Responsibilities

Your core duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing clinical, social, and emotional care of the highest standard, tailored to individual needs
  • Ensuring residents experience:
    • Routine physical assistance (personal care, mobility, feeding, medication supervision)
    • Companionship and intellectual engagement through one-to-one interactions or group activities
    • Holistic support in everyday activities such as meal times, recreation, and general living support
  • Monitoring changes in residents’ physical, sensory, and mental well-being, and collaborating with care teams to report any needs such as medical, social, or psychological care
  • Supporting and documenting the continuity of care via digital or paper records, in compliance with healthcare standards
  • Remaining person-centred – getting to know each resident’s preferences to offer care on their terms
  • Upholding hygiene, infection control, and general health and safety protocols
  • Building strong relationships with family members, friends, and other healthcare professionals as part of a supportive environment
  • Ensuring the care home adheres to legal, ethical, and professional frameworks in all actions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
