Job Overview

Location: Lisburn & Down Contract Type: Care Delivery Salary Range: £13.10 – £15.00 per hour

About the Role

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality, individualised care tailored to each person’s needs
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene support
  • Preparing and sharing nutritious meals and understanding dietary needs
  • Supporting with medication administration, prescriptions, and safe disposal
  • Undertaking light housework such as tidying, laundry, and general cleaning
  • Ensuring you become a dependable, friendly, and familiar presence to your clients

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Full and valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
    • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship or Visa transfer not available)
    • A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care
    • Availability for weekend shifts (either every other weekend or one day weekly)
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships
  • Preferred: Previous experience in care, though full training is provided
