Care Assistant - Days
Care Assistant (Days) – Lostock Lodge, Northwich
Location: Lostock Lodge Care Home, Northwich (Part of The Country Court Family)
Hours: Days (33 or 44 hrs/week). Work includes weekend shifts on rota.

The Care Assistant Role
As a Care Assistant at Lostock Lodge, you’ll make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives by supporting them with:

- Personal care support (daily living activities)
- Emotional well-being and social engagement
- Assisting at mealtimes and maintaining food preferences/dietary needs
- Personal interaction, fostering meaningful relationships
- Reviewing and updating residents’ care plans to meet evolving needs
Requirements
- No experience? No problem.
- Essential:
- Ability to handle long shifts and rotate weekends
- Clear communication skills (spoken and written)
- Empathy and patience when engaging with residents and their families
- Experience/Qualifications Preferred but Not Required:
- Prior care assistant roles in dementia, Alzheimer’s, or senior care
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to undertake training)

Minimum Offer:
- £13.05 hrs (£20,313 p.a.) for new hires, without qualifications.
- Salary edgewise offer for applicants with NVQ2 (or above) in health/social care.
