Company Description

We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults across New Romney, Kent.

You’ll be required to work Morning Shifts (07:00-14:00) and alternate Weekends, with Guaranteed Hours Contracts available for extra security.

Job Description

Care as it should be — unhurried, personal, rewarding!

At Home Instead, we give you the time to make a difference. Our visits are at least an hour long, so you can focus on what matters — helping someone feel safe, comfortable and valued.

You’ll be supporting older adults with things like:

  • Providing respectful personal care, such as helping with washing, showering, bathing, dressing and personal hygiene, while always maintaining dignity and independence
  • Supporting with mobility and helping clients move around their home safely
  • Preparing meals, snacks and hot drinks
  • Helping with light household tasks to keep their home safe and comfortable
  • Offering companionship, conversation and a friendly face
  • Supporting with medication reminders and other health-related tasks where appropriate

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Clear English and good communication skills
  • A warm, patient and caring nature
