Care Assistant Days- Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home in Stanton Drew, Chew Magna near Bath & Bristol - Part of The Country Court Family

Hours: Days 33 and 44 Hours per week, working weekends on rota (Shift Times: 7am - 7pm )
Due to the location of the home, you do require access to your own transport.
Stanton Court is a specialist Nursing & Residential Home located in the small village of Stanton Drew about 8 miles south of Bristol & Bath. Our dedicated team led by our Home Manager creates a real home-from-home, family atmosphere for the residents

About The Care Assistant Role
Within the Care Assistant role, you can really make a difference to our residents’ lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Helping our residents with personal support and care
- Aiding their emotional well-being and social needs
- Supporting residents at meals time
- Interacting with our residents on a personal level
- Maintaining and developing the residents care plan to ensure their needs are met
About You
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people’s lives.
- Be no stranger to working long shifts
- Have good written & verbal communication skills
- Able to engage well with the residents and their families
- Have an understanding of people with Dementia.
- Experience as a Care Assistant is preferred but not essential
- Have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social care or be willing to work towards this.
