Care Assistant (Full-Time & Part-Time) – Eversfield Care Home
Location: 56 Reigate Rd, Reigate, RH2 0QR
Role Type:
- Full-time | Part-time
- Permanent contract, 12.25–36.75 hour shifts (alternating weekends essential)
Hourly Rate: £13.82/hour + benefits

About the Role
We seek a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, personalised care to our residents, focusing on dignity, independence, and well-being. You’ll collaborate with our clinical and senior teams to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care, adhering to individual care plans and documenting needs and activities accurately.
- Report changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints without delay to senior staff.
- Support residents with social activities and routines, fostering meaningful engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment—responsible for:
- Proper use and storage of equipment
- Adherence to health and safety policies
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Assume responsibility for ongoing learning and development to enhance care standards.

Qualifications & Skills
Essential Requirements
- Secondary education (equivalent to UK GCSE standard) with proficiency in numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Level 2 qualification in Care (or the commitment to work towards this).
- Experience caring for older people.
- Basic knowledge of outstanding local authority or CQC Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

- Compassionate and patient with residents’ varying needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to document care accurately.
- Adaptable approach to varied routines and the demands of shift work.
- Willing to embrace training and development.
