We are currently seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Oaktree Hall and Lodge in Bridlington. If you embody warmth, creativity, and a passion for enriching lives, this role could be an outstanding fit for you.


Key Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, you’ll play a critical role in enhancing the lives of residents through:

  • Ensuring the highest possible levels of care, including:
    • Supporting/assisting residents with toileting, bathing, dressing, undressing, and all daily living needs.
    • Providing attention while ensuring comfort and dignity remain paramount.

  • Assisting residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual care needs while monitoring well-being.

  • Supporting those with:

    • Limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties (e.g., maximum use of aids).
    • Confusion or behavioural challenges.
  • Promoting continence.

  • Assisting in end-of-life or palliative care, including last offices.

  • Working alongside Nurse call systems, responding to requests promptly, and handling telephones/doors professionally.

  • Completing daily records in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Participating in social activities to engage residents in hobbies.

  • Face-to-face interactions with relatives, visitors, and employees to facilitate support.

  • Maintaining home cleanliness, safety and equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles) while adhering to waste disposal guidelines.
