Care Assistant Days – Responsible Role
Location: Abbey Grange Nursing Home, Sheffield (Part of the Country Court Family)
- Hours: 33 per week, working on a rotational weekend basis.

The Care Assistant Role
Your impact matters in this role. Core responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with personal support and care
- Enhancing their emotional wellbeing and social engagement
- Supporting during mealtimes, ensuring needs are met
- Fostering personal connections with residents
- Collaborating on care plans to refine and implement support where necessary
About You
We thrive on the dynamism of our teams. For this role, we’re searching for those passionate about dedication who can:
- Work extended, regular shifts independently
- showcase strong written and spoken communication skills
- Develop meaningful relationships with residents and their families
- Gain/prove knowledge of dementia care
- Have prior experience as a Care Assistant (preferred but not mandatory)
- Possess NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
Perfect for applicants experienced in: Care Assistant, Dementia Support, Alzheimer’s Care, Older People’s Care, Senior Care Assistants, Social Care Workers, Residential Workers, or NHS Support Roles.
