In this rewarding role, you’ll offer both practical support and emotional reassurance—helping our elderly residents feel safe, understood, and valued. Core Responsibilities
- Change and personal care support, always prioritising privacy, dignity, and respect
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and shared activities to enhance their quality of life
- Deliver tailored, person-centred care based on individual needs and preferences
- Conduct regular wellbeing and health checks in line with resident care plans
- Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to maintain consistent, high-quality care
- Accurately document resident interactions via digital systems
- Report any incidents, health concerns, or changes promptly to senior staff
Essential Requirements
- A caring and empathetic approach with a genuine devotion to supporting others
- Ability to thrive in both team and independent environments
- Strong communication skills to build trust with residents and colleagues
- Basic written English proficiency for clear and accurate record-keeping
- Familiarity with digital systems for documentation (training provided if needed)
- Adaptable and positive mindset to meet diverse resident needs
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- A deep understanding of safeguarding principles and protecting vulnerable individuals
