Care Assistant Days - Cotswold Care Home

Address: Woodside Drive, Bradwell Village, OX18 4XA remote location, own transport desirable
Hourly Rate: £13.68 - £14.51 per hour
Contract: Full-time/Part-time (Permanent)
Shifts: Up to 49 hour shift, weekend availability

The Cotswold Home is situated in a beautiful area close to the lovely town of Burford. Offering the highest levels of residential and nursing care provided by a team of experienced and committed staff.
About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, personal care needs of residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence. Working alongside our clinical and senior care teams, you’ll help create a safe, engaging, and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
- Report any changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
- Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
- Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.

Qualifications & Skills
- Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English.
- Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Experience caring for older people.
- Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.
