CARE ASSISTANT - FT/PT
Care Assistant – Home Care Support Role
Location: Caremark NI, Donaghadee Area
About the Role

What You’ll Do
‘Your vital role will focus on’:
- Meal preparation
- Companionship care (building and nurturing relationships)
- Personal care support
- Medication assistance (under proper supervision)
- Maintaining accurate coverage records
- Clear communication with the team and clients
Note: This is an entry-level role—no prior qualifications or care experience is required. Full training provided.
Salary & Structure
- Hourly rate: Up to £14.10 per hour (detailed pay scale available).
- Flexible working: Full-time and part-time positions available.
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of Caremark NI, your responsibilities will include delivering:
- Compassionate and safe personal care support.
- Efficient record-keeping to ensure client well-being.
- Team collaboration (with colleagues and management) for seamless service.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality with all client information.

Requirements & Qualifications (Essential) and (Desired)
Required
- Exercise discretion in a caring environment (senior.**
- Must have a right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available for this role).
- Ability to meet the emotional demands of caring for vulnerable individuals.
- DBS (Enhanced Disclosure Check) required.
- Female-only position due to sensitivity of client interactions.

- Backgrounds in retail, hospitality, or care support are welcome.
- Enthusiastic commitment to enhance personal abilities.
- Experience in building rapport or compassionate care environments.
