Part-Time Care Assistant - Maidenhead

About the Role

We are seeking a caring, passionate individual to join our team on a part-time basis (9am – 2:30pm weekdays, including at least 2 evenings per week (5pm–9pm) and alternative weekends) to provide home care to our customers.

Key Details

  • Pay rates (UKHSA registered):
    • Weekdays: £14.47 – £15.90 per hour
    • Weekends: £14.47 – £16.70 per hour
    • Mileage allowance: £0.40 per mile if travelling for work
    • Bank holidays: Double pay
  • Contracts: A variety of part-time, including flexible options (e.g., working 5pm–9pm)*
  • Experience: No prior experience required—skills assessment and training provided
  • Requirements:
    • Own transport (able to insure for work use)
    • Flexibility to adapt to clients’ varied routines and needs
    • Reliable carer who understands confidentiality and professionalism

Responsibilities

This role includes:

  • Personal care: Washing, bathing, and toilet assistance
  • Domiciliary support: Domestic tasks ( light housekeeping & meals )
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Medication administration (with training)
  • Food preparation and nutritional support

Requirements & Expectations

  • Must be passionate about care and elderly/disabled support
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Non-judgmental, empathetic and trustworthy
  • Willingness to develop through training programmes we provide
