Job Overview

We are looking for compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our growing team in Brent & Barnet.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals, including elderly clients and young adults with additional needs, helping them maintain independence and dignity in their daily lives.

This position includes both domiciliary care (door-to-door visits) and live-in care placements, with shifts ranging from 1-hour visits to 24-hour support. We are seeking individuals who are flexible, culturally sensitive, and committed to delivering person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel within a 15-mile radius of Brent & Barnet
  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Support medication reminders and administration (where applicable)
  • Assist with mobility and daily living activities
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Help with meal preparation and light household duties
  • Maintain accurate care records and documentation
  • Follow personalised care plans while promoting dignity, privacy, and respect
  • Support a diverse range of clients, including elderly individuals and young adults with disabilities

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of care experience
  • Minimum Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification
  • Valid UK driving licence preferred (for travel between clients)
  • Willingness to travel within Brent & Barnet (15-mile radius)
  • Availability for both domiciliary and live-in care shifts
  • Experience supporting elderly clients and individuals with additional needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, compassionate, and professional attitude
