Care Assistant – Hinckley Residential Care Home
Our private care home in Hinckley, a charming town centre location, specialises in:
- Residential Care
- Dementia Care
- Nursing Care
- Respite Care
- Palliative Care
📍 Location: Close to Hinckley town centre 🏥 Capacity: 72 residents
Contract Details
- Salary: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 33 per week
- Benefits:
- DBS check fee covered
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rated for part-time contracts)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant in our team, you’ll make a real difference to residents daily—delivering personalised, compassionate care that upholds dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including:
- Personal hygiene & dressing
- Mobility & Movement support
- Nutrition & meal assistance
- Emotional & social engagement
- Follow structured care plans, monitoring changes in residents’ conditions and reporting proactively
- Help residents feel valued, respected, and comfortable in a supportive environment
- Contribute to a team-based approach, fostering warmth and trust
- Support all residents across our Residential, Dementia, Nursing, Respite, and Palliative care pathways

- Desirable:
- Previous care experience (but not mandatory)
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to pursue)
- Flexible T&Cs: Willingness to work alternate weekends
