Company Description

Home Instead has arrived in Mendip Hills, Midsomer Norton & Frome and we're incredibly excited to be bringing our award-winning home care and meaningful job opportunities to North and East Somerset.

Home Instead is one of the UK's leading home care providers, with over 270 offices nationwide. We're proud to have been named the Leading Provider of Home Care at the 2024 Leaders in Care Awards and to be recognised as the most recommended home care provider on Homecare.co.uk in 2025.

Our new office forms part of the Home Instead Virtus Care Group, alongside our established offices in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire & South Gloucestershire. Together, our three offices have many years of experience delivering exceptional, relationship-led care that helps older people remain happy, safe and independent in the homes they love with Outstanding CQC ratings.

We're now bringing that same commitment to quality to our newest territory, supporting older adults across Cheddar, Winscombe, the Mendip Hills, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, Frome and the surrounding villages. As our service begins, we're looking for kind, compassionate and dependable people to join our team as Care Professionals.

Whether you're completely new to care or already have experience, we'd love to hear from you.

Job Description

At Home Instead, we do things very differently. We believe care should never be rushed, and that's why every visit lasts at least one hour, giving you the time to build genuine relationships and provide the personalised support every client deserves. We carefully match our Care Professionals with clients to ensure continuity, trust and companionship, allowing meaningful relationships to develop over time. Many of our Care Professionals support the same clients for years, becoming a familiar and trusted part of their lives - something we're incredibly proud of across the Virtus Care Group.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
