Care Assistant
About The Role
At HC-One, kindness is at the heart of everything we do across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our residents are people with their own stories to tell, and by joining us you’ll have the chance to give something back while helping them live with dignity and purpose.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents through:
- Personal care activities such as washing, dressing, hygiene, and meals
- Assistance with daily activities in the home
Your care will centre on ensuring residents maintain their individuality, with a focus on compassionate actions like:
- Supporting residents with limited mobility
- Comforting distressed residents
- Providing end-of-life care
Safeguarding mechanisms will be integral to your role. You’ll be required to:
- Recognise signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect
- Complete mandatory safeguarding training
- Report concerns appropriately, including potential escalation
