Professional Care Assistant (Sleepovers & Waking Nights) – Wilmslow & Surrounding Areas

Key Details

  • Location: Wilmslow, Alderley Edge, Cheadle, Knutsford, Macclesfield, and surrounding areas
  • Pay: £14.69–£16.26/hour (including paid travel time) + 45p/mile mileage
  • Hours: Full-time & part-time (flexible contracts up to 30 hours)
  • CQC Rating: 'Outstanding'
  • No prior experience required (full training provided)

About the Role

We’re Carefound Home Care, and as a trusted provider, we’re seeking kind-hearted individuals to join our team as Professional Care Assistants. You’ll provide compassionate overnight support (sleepovers/waking nights) to help our clients maintain independence and well-being in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant, your role may include:

  • Companionship – Building supportive, trusting relationships with clients.
  • Personal care – Assisting with daily routines (bathing, dressing, toilet use).
  • Mobility & activity support – Encouraging movement, exercise, or leisure activities.
  • Medication/health support – Aiding with prescribed medication or specialist needs.
  • Home management – Helping with light housekeeping, cooking, or errands (shopping, prescriptions).
  • Client-centred planning – Adjusting routines to suit individual needs and preferences.

You’ll also use our app-based system to track visits and client progress.


Requirements

✅ Mandatory:

  • Full UK driving licence (for visits)
  • Own reliable vehicle (to cover service areas)
  • A willingness to train and commit to our *’can do’ mindset.

✅ Preferred (not essential):

  • Experience in care, nursing, or customer service (but not required—we train from scratch).
