Care Assistant (Nights)

Night Care Assistant

Location: Burnham Lodge, Burnham, Buckinghamshire (SL1 8NU) Hours: Full-time (36 hours per week)

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will deliver high-quality, individualised care and support to residents, ensuring их privacy, dignity, and independence are always upheld. Your role is crucial in creating a happy, safe, and caring atmosphere where residents' needs take priority.

You will provide a wide range of support, including:

  • Physical care (personal hygiene, mobility assistance)
  • Social and emotional support (engaging activities, companionship)
  • Psychological care (listening, reassurance, tailored attention)

We embrace diversity due to the varied needs of both staff and residents and will train you fully—no prior experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal times.
  • Encourage independence and facilitate meaningful activities to improve residents’ quality of life.
  • Comply with safeguarding and data protection policies.
  • Maintain excellent communication with colleagues, families, and management.
  • Work flexibly as part of a dedicated, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Essential:

    • Right to work in the UK (proof required).
    • A warm, compassionate attitude and dedication to person-centred care.
    • Willingness to undergo Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (required for all posts).
  • Preferred (but training provided if lacking):

    • Experience in care environments (though this is not mandatory).
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
