About The Role

As a Care Assistant, your primary responsibility is to deliver high standards of personal care while contributing to the continuity of services for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting resident independence while maintaining dignity, respect, and autonomy in all personal hygiene care.
  • Identifying and addressing clinical risks—such as weight loss, pressure sores, fall risks, infections—and escalating concerns promptly.
  • Providing courteous, respectful care to residents and their visitors.
  • Following safe work practices across all assigned tasks.

While formal experience is not required, we look for candidates who embody Avery’s values: caring, honesty, respect, and accountability. Our successful applicants will receive a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence and competence.
