Care Assistant (Night Shift) – Ruby Lodge Care Home
Location: Sowerby, Thirsk, North Yorkshire – YO7 1TS Salary: Part of the Country Court Family Hours: Nights, 44 hours per week (including weekend rota work)

This is a fulfilling role where you can make a significant impact on our residents’ daily lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal support and care for residents
- Promoting emotional well-being and social engagement
- Assisting residents during mealtimes
- Building meaningful personal interactions with residents
- Ensuring their care plans remain up-to-date and personalised
About You
We’re looking for people who are passionate about making a difference—just like our team at Ruby Lodge. Here’s what it takes:
- Experience (or willingness) to work long, overnight shifts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to connect and support residents and their families
- A compassionate understanding of demmentia care
- Preferred: Previous experience as a Care Assistant, but not essential
- Willingness to obtain an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or qualifications you may already hold
