Night Care Assistant

Location: Astley View, Chorley

Salary: £13.45 per hour and overtime paid at £14.95 per hour, equivalent £26,926pa

Hours: Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 8pm - 8am shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

About the Role:

Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistant (Nights) to join the team at Astley View, our state-of-the-art, purpose build, luxury care home in Chorley. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment, across our brand new community. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team, with plenty of opportunity for development.

Main Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens. Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.

Experience Required:

Previous experience (either personal or work-based) within adult social care Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team. Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
