Care Assistant – Dementia, Nursing & Residential/Specialist Care Roles
Location: HC-One care homes across the UK About The Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our frontline team with guidance from a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of residents
- Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene, mealtimes)
- Encouraging and enabling daily activities and engagement within the home
- Providing one-to-one care that connects with each resident—from mobility support to compassionate end-of-life care
- Ensuring residents remain at the heart of their own journey, never losing their individuality
Safeguarding is non-negotiable in adult social care. You must:
- Recognise signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect (physical, emotional, financial, etc.)
- Attend mandatory safeguarding training tailored to your role
- Follow procedures for reporting concerns and seeking advice
- Escalate issues if necessary, trusting your judgment
