We’re currently recruiting full-time and part-time Care Assistants to join our dedicated Welham Green branch, supporting service users in the Tring community.


Work Location: Your Community Needs You!

Working in home care means your "office" is deep within the community. Nestled right in the Chiltern Hills, you’ll enjoy stunning landscapes and a historic town environment. Your workday might take you past features such as:

  • The Grand Union Canal at Tring Wharf
  • Rolling countryside views
  • The historic town of Tring
  • Local villages including Long Marston and Gubblecote

Pay & Benefits

We believe great work deserves great pay. Here’s what you’ll earn:

  • Weekdays (Mon–Fri): £14.70 per hour
  • Weekends (Sat–Sun): £16.50 per hour
  • Mileage allowance: £0.30p per mile

Job Description: Care Assistant

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day in this role brings new rewards and challenges. Here’s the meaningful fulfilment you’ll experience:

  • Providing personal care:

    • Assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming – all with dignity and respect
    • Helping with medication – ensuring timely preparation and administration
  • Aiding independence:

    • Supporting mobility, using equipment safely
    • Assisting with day-to-day tasks like washing, grooming
  • Domiciliary responsibilities:

    • Preparing meals, snacks, and offering mealtime support
    • Carrying out light domestic duties (laundry, bed-making, tidying)
  • Relationship building:

    • Offering companionship and reassurance
    • Encouraging social engagement, maintaining family connections
  • Key duties & responsibilities:

    • Monitoring health and reporting changes to healthcare professionals and families
    • Maintaining accurate care documentation
    • Responding to emergencies safely and effectively
    • Collaborating with families and the wider care team

Qualifications & Requirements

No past social care experience is necessary – we provide full, paid training. Here’s what matters most:
