Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

- Providing personalised, high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs
- Assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting meal planning, preparation, and nutrition to meet client needs
- Safely managing medications, prescriptions, and disposal in compliance with regulations
- Carrying out light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, basic cleaning)
- Establishing a reliable, friendly, and familiar presence for the people you support

Requirements
To excel as a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care, you should possess:

- A kind, compassionate attitude with a calm and patient demeanour
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
- Full UK driver’s licence (valid for business use) and access to a vehicle
- Local residency in Oxford, South Oxfordshire, or West Oxfordshire region
- Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential (comprehensive training provided)
