  • Providing personalised, high-quality care tailored to each individual’s needs
  • Assisting with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
  • Supporting meal planning, preparation, and nutrition to meet client needs
  • Safely managing medications, prescriptions, and disposal in compliance with regulations
  • Carrying out light housekeeping (tidying, laundry, basic cleaning)
  • Establishing a reliable, friendly, and familiar presence for the people you support

Requirements

To excel as a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care, you should possess:

  • A kind, compassionate attitude with a calm and patient demeanour
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships
  • Full UK driver’s licence (valid for business use) and access to a vehicle
  • Local residency in Oxford, South Oxfordshire, or West Oxfordshire region
  • Previous care experience is beneficial but not essential (comprehensive training provided)
