Care Assistant – Ashlynn Grange Care Home
Responsible for ensuring a high level of care is provided to residents at Ashlynn Grange Care Home.

About The Role
The Care Assistant reports to the Team Leader and is responsible for:
- Providing high-quality care tailored to each resident’s individual needs
- Engaging residents in meaningful activities
- Ensuring care plans align with each resident’s requirements

- Fully funded apprenticeships for NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Additional training pathways for staff with specific interests
Salaries & Hours
- £12.71 per hour
- 33 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday)
Home Location: Bretton Gate, Peterborough, PE3 9UZ
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent resident care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Assist residents during meal times, ensuring meals are suitable
- Support and participate in home activities to encourage person-centred care
- Attend and complete all mandatory training and qualifications
Training, Skills & Experience Required
We seek a passionate and caring individual who:
- Prioritises the needs of residents first
- Desirable (but not mandatory): Experience in care, or qualifications equivalent to NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Possesses excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
