About the Role
We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our award-winning care home, Kingfishers in New Milton, Hampshire, as a Health Care Assistant.
If you have a caring attitude, we’ll arrange comprehensive induction, training & support to prepare you for this rewarding role. With our Supportive Nursing Team on hand 24/7 and exceptional Careers Development Programme, you can progress from day one.

Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Provide daily support and companionship to residents to ensure their needs are met with dignity and kindness.
- Help with activities, including personal care, laundry, dressing, and meal assistance.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to monitor and report residents’ health conditions.
- Observe residents closely and report changes within the care planning process.
- Promote independence through pro-activating activities in a safe environment.
Office Environment
- Assist with the nurturing care experiences in a warm and supportive manner.
Requirements
Attitude & Qualities
You must have: ✔ A naturally compassionate and empathetic nature. ✔ A willingness to be hands-on—looking after people is at the heart of your drive. ✔ Reliability and strong time management/observation skills. ✔ A resilient and flexible approach, understanding the challenges of care work. ✔ Motivation to learn—we will invest in your future, but humour and a ** desire to try new things** is a must.
