Care Assistant (Female) – Cambridge & Villages (Driver Required)

Location: Cambridge & South Cambs Contract type: Care Delivery Salary: £15.80 per hour + £0.35 per mile mileage (for own vehicle)

The Role

As a Care Assistant, your role will involve:

  • Supporting customers to stay safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes
  • Providing:
    • Personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
    • Medication support
    • Meal preparation and nutritional advice
    • Companionship and emotional support
    • Encouraging independence and choice
  • Maintaining accurate care documentation for each customer
  • Building meaningful relationships with those you support

Essential Requirements

To apply for this role, you must meet the following:

  • Female applicants only (Schedule 9, Equality Act 2010)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to your own car for work
  • Ability to work alternate weekends (Saturdays and Sundays)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to undertake:
    • An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
    • Reference checks
