Care Assistant – Part-Time Role | Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

About The Role
Your Impact as a Care Assistant
As a Care Assistant with Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield, your compassionate support makes a profound difference. You’ll work closely with clients to maintain their independence, safety, and quality of life, delivering personalised care in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care, assisting with daily routines such as washing, dressing, and personal hygiene while upholding dignity at all times.
- Safely administer medication to ensure client well-being and compliance with prescribed regimes.
- Support safe mobility, including expert moving and handling techniques—such as hoist and rotunda transfers—to encourage independence.
- Offer companionship, helping with light domestic tasks, shopping, and fostering meaningful social connections to improve wellbeing.
- Deliver sensitive end-of-life care, providing comfort and support during critical times with grace and empathy.
Training & Support:
- A two-day comprehensive induction to equip you with essential care skills.
- A voluntary shadow shift—the opportunity to experience a day in the life of a Care Assistant alongside an experienced team member.

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Commitment to empowering individuals and enriching lives.
- A strong passion for enabling clients to live independently in their own homes.
- Compassion, dedication, and a caring attitude.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours during school hours (specific shifts TBC).
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for travel across the service area.
