About The Role

Your Impact as a Care Assistant:

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant with Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide compassionate personal care, assisting with daily routines like washing, dressing, and personal hygiene, always upholding dignity.
  • Safely assist with medication administration, ensuring client well-being and adherence.
  • Support safe mobility through expert moving and handling techniques, including hoist and rotunda transfers, promoting independence.
  • Offer invaluable companionship, assisting with light domestic tasks, shopping, and fostering meaningful social connections.
  • Deliver sensitive and compassionate end-of-life care, providing comfort and support during critical times.

We invest in your success from day one with a comprehensive 2-day induction, covering all aspects of care. You'll also have the unique opportunity for a voluntary shadow shift, allowing you to experience a 'day in the life' alongside an experienced carer.

Required Criteria

  • Must be able to empower individuals and enrich lives.
  • Must be committed to enabling clients to live independently and comfortably within their own homes.

  • Must be available to work 20 hours during school hours.
  • Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a reliable vehicle to travel across the service area.
