Care Assistant – Domiciliary
Pay: ÂŁ14.60 per hour Weekend Rate: ÂŁ15.00 per hour Bank Holiday Rate: ÂŁ29.20 per hour
Hours: Full-time & part-time available (contracted up to 30 hours).
Mileage: Paid at 35p per mile (HMRC reclaim option available).

About the Role

We are recruiting Care Assistants for both part-time care jobs and full-time care jobs, with flexible hours available (up to 30 hours per week). We particularly need carers for:
- Early mornings (7am–9am)
- Evenings (7pm–10pm)
- Alternate weekends or the same weekend day

Responsibilities

As a Care Assistant / Care Worker, you will:
- Deliver personal care support (bathing, toileting, dressing)
- Administer medications safely per guidelines
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage wellbeing
- Assist with meal prep, feeding, and dietary needs
- Support with mobility assistance (transfers, wheelchairs, etc.)
- Help with light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment
- Keep accurate care records and document daily observations
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence, access to a car, and business insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a supportive team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, bank holidays)
- Previous care experience (not essential—training provided)
