Care Assistant

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and committed Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with personal care, such as washing, dressing, and hygiene. -Preparing and serving meals. -Encouraging participation in daily activities within the care home.

Your care will come from the heart, ensuring every resident retains their individuality. You might:

  • Help residents with limited mobility move safely and confidently.
  • Provide comfort and support to those experiencing distress.
  • Deliver compassionate end-of-life care, prioritising their dignity at every stage.

Safeguarding is a critical responsibility in adult social care. As part of your role, you’ll need to:

  • Recognise signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect in its various forms.
  • Complete mandatory safeguarding training and additional related training.
  • Escalate concerns if necessary, ensuring action is taken promptly.
