Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing high-quality, personalised care tailored to each person’s individual needs
- Assisting with personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Supporting with meal preparation, nutrition, hydration, and dietary requirements
- Assistance with medication management, prescriptions, and safe disposal
- Carrying out light housework, including tidying, laundry, and general cleaning
- Being a friendly, reassuring, and dependable presence in your customers’ lives

Requirements
To join Bluebird Care Bath & NE Somerset, we seek individuals who:
- Have a kind, compassionate attitude and a calm, conscientious approach to care
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to build confident, trusting relationships
- Can follow care plans carefully and adapt to individual requirements
- Hold a Full UK Driver’s Licence with access to a personal vehicle (breathing lanes to meet Bluebird Care’s vehicle standards)
Experience in care is beneficial but not essential—full training will be provided.
