Location: Cambridge, CB4 Pay: £13.25 per hour Shift Pattern: Day shifts (8 am – 8 pm) Employment Type: Carer (support role)
What You’ll Do
This fulfilling role involves providing person-centred care for a young man with a spinal cord injury in his Cambridge home. Your responsibilities will include:
- Personal care assistance (including showering, toileting, dressing)
- Meal preparation (health-conscious recipes)
- General household tasks (cleaning, laundry, maintaining a tidy, functional home)
- Care coordination (helping organize and attend medical appointments, therapies, or social events)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Assisting in a pet-friendly environment (looking after a resident cat—ideal for animal lovers!)

Your Training & Development
Unlike other carer roles, no prior care experience is required. Total Community Care offers:
