# Care Assistant – Eckington Court Nursing Home (Full & Part Time)

Eckington Court Nursing Home – 7 Penny Engine Lane, Eckington, Sheffield, S21 4BF

Salary:

£12.21 – £12.46 per hour

Hours:

Full-time & Part-time positions available, including shifts at night

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Care Assistant at Eckington Court, you’ll form the backbone of our care team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting residents with dignity, respect, and kindness, including:
    • Daily personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, oral hygiene)
    • Encouraging activities, leisure outings, and assisting with appointments
    • Serving meals and refreshments in a warm, courteous manner
    • Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing
  • Acting as a key worker for a group of residents, adapting care to their individual needs
  • Contributing to a supportive team culture, helping new colleagues feel welcome
