Care Assistant – Vulnerable Adults Support Role

What It Takes to Thrive as a Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant, your day will revolve around visiting vulnerable adults in the Flint community in their homes. Your role is to support their independence and dignity, offering:

  • Warm greetings and daily assistance (e.g., helping with washing/dressing)
  • Preparing nutritious meals like hearty breakfasts or lunches
  • Managing medication reminders
  • Delivering authentic companionship: A listening ear, kind words, and meaningful conversation
