# Job Description
## Employee Engagement
- Conduct regular Wellbeing and Engagement calls with Care Professionals to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed and heard.
- Undertake periodic supervisions for Care Professionals in line with the Group Governance Policy.
- Handle absenteeism issues, including Care Worker AWOL (Absent Without Leave), and effectively manage transitions for leavers.
- Share positive feedback (compliments) from clients, staff, or partners, ensuring recognition and celebration of outstanding care.
- Publish feedback on CCH Connect to inspire and motivate both current and aspiring Care Professionals.
## Customer Engagement
- Carry out "Voice of the Customer" surveys to gather critical insights into the quality of our care services.
- Use feedback to identify areas for improvement, contributing directly to service excellence.
## Incident & Accident Management
- Record, respond to, and manage incidents, including:
- Unplanned and preventable incidents (general care, hydration, fall management, falls risk assessments, etc.).
- Medication errors and missed appointments.
- Thoroughly investigate incidents, documenting findings and driving corrective actions.
- Ensure appropriate actions are taken to mitigate risks and protect client safety.

## Governance & Compliance
- Monitor regulatory compliance for Care Professionals, addressing deficiencies in:
- Up-to-date supervisions.
- Current DBS checks (Disclosure & Barring Service).
- Validated Right to Work (RTW) documentation.
- Completed adoverall care service standards Adverse Events Logs (AEL) and Medication incidents.
- Mandatory Care Professional Update Training in line with company policies.
- Ensure all wellbeing concerns, incidents, and medication errors are handled according to established protocols.
- Maintain visits Very Good Practice (BETTER std’s) and Risk Reviews to support compliance with regulatory requirements.
## Reporting
- Adhere to all documented protocols for reporting concerns related to:
- Wellbeing matters.
- Incidents and Accidents.
- Medication errors.
- Provide timely reports to the Care Manager, highlighting areas of concern, trends, or issues requiring intervention.
- Action feedback from Wellbeing and Engagement calls and “Voice of the Customer” surveys to inform proactive action plans.
Note: The company may request additional duties commensurate with the role and business needs.
# Qualifications & Requirements
### # What You’ll Bring
- Passion for caring, with a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and enhancing service quality.
- Organisation & leadership skills: Ability to effectively manage rotas, monitor scheduling, and build robust relationships with Care Professionals.
- Cross-functional experience is advantageous—leveraging marketing, recruitment, or process training expertise.
### # Stepping Up?
If you have previous healthcare experience, a solid understanding of CQC requirements, holistic care planning frameworks, or scheduling and resource allocation, we’ll provide targeted support for your transition into this specialised role.
## Skills & Qualifications
- Prior healthcare or care services experience (preferably in roles involving:
- Care reports, incident documentation, performance monitoring).
- Technical proficiency with systems like:
- People Planner (HR/scheduling).
- CCH Circle or similar care management tools.
- Mindful records or care documentation requirements.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrating the ability to:
- Engage with staff (empowerment & feedback).
- Collaborate effectively with clients/families/subcontractors.
- Detail-oriented: Exceptional organisational skills, robust documentation, and adept incident resolution.
- Experience managing sensitive conversations with empathy and authority while maintaining professionalism.
- Knowledge of sector best practices, such as:
- Service user rights audits.
- Care quality compliance.
- Health and welfare metrics (e.g., PASAA Code of Practice, CQC standards).
