Care Coordinator – Caremark Kirklees (Huddersfield Area)
Location: Caremark – Huddersfield Area
Join our award-winning team at Caremark Kirklees. Working closely with the Registered Manager and field team, you will:
- Coordinate care services
- Manage staff schedules
- Maintain high standards of person-centred care
- Liaise with customers and professionals
- Support recruitment and onboarding
- Ensure compliance with company policy and CQC requirements
- Participate in the on-call rota
About the Role
You'll manage the following key responsibilities:
- Create and maintain staff rotas using scheduling software
- Respond promptly to customer and staff enquiries
- Monitor and manage care delivery to ensure service standards
- Liaise with customers, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of care staff
- Maintain accurate records and ensure CQC/compliance adherence
- Provide emergency cover and resolve scheduling issues
- Participate in the on-call rota as required
Essential Requirements
- Experience in care coordination, scheduling, or care administration
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good IT skills and experience with scheduling systems
- Understanding of domiciliary care and person-centred practice
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle

Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in home care or health & social care settings
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
