We’re looking for a Care Coordinator to join our brilliant team in Reading. This crucial role ensures our clients receive exceptional care. The role involves organising schedules based on clients' requested call times and care professional availability, as well as maintaining effective communication with staff, clients, families, and professionals.

What will you do?

  • Producing weekly rotas and care scheduling to ensure adequate provision of care
  • Full management of carer availability and scheduling in ACP plus sorting sickness and absence cover
  • Undertaking reviews and checks of calls to ensure schedules match reality
  • Support payroll checking monthly to align rota and working to accounting
  • Undertake care visits if suitable cover can't be found to ensure consistency of service
  • Daily troubleshooting and problem solving including call answers, branch admin and team support
  • Supporting and deliver the on-call out of hours service, share amongst the team
  • Assisting in the training and induction of new team members
  • Facilitating Good Oaks in providing a continuous and reliable service

Who are you?

  • You’re a highly organised and efficient co-ordinator with a people focused approach
  • You’re a strong communicator with all types of people and ability to remain positive
  • You are IT confident enabling effective scheduling, team contact and work planning
  • You’re highly reliable and able to foster a strong team ethos and keep morale high
  • You are growth focused and support continued development of yourself and the team
  • You are dedicated with high energy levels
  • You're willing to undertake a DBS check to work with vulnerable adults
