Care Coordinator

Care Coordinator – Battersea (London & South East England)

About the Role

Care Outlook is an expanding leading home care provider in London and the South East of England, founded in 2005. We are recruiting for a Care Coordinator to maintain and develop our extra care service in Battersea.


Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Administer care schedules: Roster and manage care calls using an electronic system.
  • Lead team oversight: Directly manage the care team, ensuring staff development through regular supervisions, appraisals, and training to uphold high-quality service standards.
  • Plan and monitor care delivery: Create, manage, and monitor customer care plans to ensure staff rotas meet service users’ needs, preferences, and aspirations.
  • Compliance & assessment: Ensure care assessments, risk management, and care planning align with best practices and meet customer aspirations.
  • Staffing & recruitment support: Collaborate with the Recruitment Team to maintain and forecast sufficient staffing levels.
  • Emergency response: Provide care services or arrange emergency cover for service users as needed and attend to calls as required.
  • Customer service excellence: Ensure prompt, polite, and respectful telephone interactions with service users.
  • Quality compliance: Work alongside the Branch Manager to resolve complaints, feedback, and quality standards efficiently.
  • On-call commitments: Participate in a paid on-call rota to meet business needs.
  • Regulatory compliance: Implement measures to ensure CQC (Care Quality Commission) adherence and strive for excellence in care standards.

Requirements

We are seeking a committed and proactive Care Coordinator who:

  • Is 100% dedicated to improving the quality of life for vulnerable individuals (essential)
  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to cover on-call shifts (essential)
  • Has strong knowledge of CQC standards and compliance (essential)
  • Has experience rostering care calls through an electronic system (preferred)
  • Offers 2+ years of care experience, ideally in Care Coordination or Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • Holds a full driving licence with access to a vehicle (preferred)
  • Possesses an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
