Deputy Nurse Manager – Barchester Care Home
About The Role
As Deputy Nurse Manager of a Barchester care home, you'll support the delivery of the quality care we're renowned for. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to assist with:
- Ensuring high standards of care
- Motivating your team
- Leading a multidisciplinary team to empower every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life
This role involves:
- Setting and maintaining standards through:

About You
To excel as Deputy Nurse Manager at Barchester, you must meet the following key requirements:
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in managing individuals with diverse health needs
- Successful track record in:
- Conducting safeguarding investigations
- Performing clinical risk assessments
- Experience in HR, including employee relations and disciplinary processes
- Strong knowledge of:
- Sales & marketing strategies
- Budget management
- Compassionate, resilient and determined to deliver exceptional quality care
