Care Home Manager Opportunity

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Care Home Manager to manage an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.

This care home is a purpose-built unit for residents who have dementia. It is a converted Victorian country house with accommodation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

As the Home Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Home
  • Leading a team of care professionals with a passion and commitment for delivering the highest standards of care to our residents
  • You will form strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families and drive our values in everything you do
  • Ensuring effective delivery of all care management processes and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies
  • Leadership and management of the nursing home team, people management, and workforce development

Preferred Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of managing a care home
  • Experience of being a registered home manager
  • Ability to deliver outstanding care for the residents
  • In-depth understanding of the legal requirements such as Health and Social Care Act, CQC regulations, KLOESs, and rating characteristics
  • Goes the extra mile for residents and staff
  • Inspires people to achieve their aspirations
  • Is an excellent team player during all ups and downs

Benefits

The successful Home Manager will receive an amazing salary of GBP55,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week working through day shifts from 9am to 5pm. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive the following generous benefits:
