Care Home Manager
Experienced Home Manager – New Modern Care Home (Swaffham, Norfolk)
A brand-new job opportunity is now available for a /experienced Home Manager/ to oversee one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers managing their upcoming brand-new, state-of-the-art care home in Swaffham, Norfolk.
The role is for a new residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care home dedicated to delivering a comfortable, supportive environment tailored to each resident’s individual needs.
Key Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Previous experience managing a nursing or residential care home
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As the Home Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership and vision to the care team, fostering a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy
- Ensure compliance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards, upholding the highest levels of care quality
- Manage the home’s budget, achieving financial targets while keeping costs controlled
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to secure full occupancy and promote services to residents, families, and key stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and all external partners, addressing concerns professionally

Preferred Skills & Experience
Ideally, you should have:
- A deep understanding of CQC standards, backed by a proven history of achieving outstanding ratings
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and healthcare professionals
- A successful track-record in care home management, including strong commercial and marketing experience within the private sector
- A passion for person-centred care, with a commitment to excellence in resident well-being
- Willingness to contribute to the growth and development of the care home over time

Salary & Benefits
The Home Manager will receive a strong salary of £75,000 per annum, in addition to:
- Permanent, full-time role (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
