Care Manager
Service Manager – Residential Service (Bracknell)

We’re recruiting a Service Manager for a small, well-established residential service in the Bracknell area, supporting adults with:
- Learning disabilities
- Physical disabilities
- Brain injuries
- Complex needs
This is a settled and stable service with an experienced staff team already in place, offering an excellent platform for a confident manager to build, grow, and lead with purpose. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who already has management experience in adult social care and is now ready to take the next step—leading a smaller service where you can truly see the impact of your leadership day to day.

The service is a residential home supporting four individuals, providing:

About the role
As Service Manager, you’ll:
- Take ownership of the service while being fully supported by an experienced operational leadership structure
- Be responsible for daily management of the home, ensuring:
- Safe, high-quality, compliant care
- Development of a positive, values-driven culture for both colleagues and the people we support
- Lead a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys:

Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a stable staff team
- Driving quality and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Embedding person-centred practice and consistent standards
- Building strong relationships with families and professionals
- Managing:

- Risk assessment

Who this role is for
This opportunity suits an experienced Service Manager or Deputy Manager who is:
- Confident in their leadership ability
- Ready to step into a role with increased autonomy and responsibility
- Capable of managing effectively within a smaller service (despite its relevance)
You’ll need:
- Previous management experience in adult social care
- Experience supporting people with:
- Learning disabilities
- Complex needs
- A strong understanding of:
- CQC requirements
- Quality frameworks
- A values-led approach, with the ability to:

- Support your team
