Care Manager
Senior Care Manager – Quality Assurance (Hybrid)

As one of England’s highest-rated CQC-regulated live-in care providers, we’re expanding our Quality Assurance team and are seeking an experienced Care Manager with specialist knowledge in live-in care, domiciliary care, or community care.
The Role
We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Care Manager to lead the quality and safety of live-in care packages across London and the South East. This hybrid (home + office) role merges:
- Care management & quality assurance
- Safeguarding & compliance
- Client assessments & care planning
- Field-based support & supervisory oversight
You’ll play a pivotal role ensuring high-touch, personalised care by collaborating directly with:
- Clients and families
- Professional carers
- Healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, social workers)
Ideal for candidates with experience as a: Care Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Registered Care Manager, Field Care Supervisor, Quality Assurance Manager, Clinical Care Coordinator, Community Care Manager, or Live-in Care Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic alignment and accountability:
- Lead morning team meetings with care management and Quality Assurance colleagues to authorise escalations and align priorities.
- Client onboarding & assessments:
- Conduct new client assessments and ensure seamless integration.
- Develop and update outcome-based care plans (ad-hoc and scheduled).
- Field & safeguarding duties:
- Undertake randomised visits (in-person and digital) to assess:
- Client wellbeing and satisfaction with care delivery.
- Care staff performance (including spot checks, supervisions, and annual appraisals).
- Environmental risk assessments in client homes.
- Collect and audit QA forms, providing tailored feedback where required.
- Undertake randomised visits (in-person and digital) to assess:
- Case coordination & documentation:
- Maintain and update field visit schedules (2-week advance planning).
- Compile KPI data for company-wide reporting.
- Compensation, escalations & compliance:
- Manage client + carer complaints, disciplinary processes following company policy.
- Represent the organisation in external CQC inspections when needed.
- Out-of-hours coverage (rotational):
- 6-week cycles covering unplanned emergency support duties.
- Clinical oversight:
- Partner with healthcare teams (nurses, social workers, specialists) to ensure care aligns with medical plans.
- Advocacy & stakeholder engagement:
- Build long-term trust with clients and families, providing bespoke solutions.
- Act as a Bridge Board professional (where required) for assessments in care needs.

Requirements
- Experience: 3–5 years in Health & Social Care, with 2+ years in care leadership (e.g., Care Manager, Team Leader, Field Supervisor).
- Specialist focus: Direct experience in live-in care, domiciliary care, home care, community care, or complex care environments.
- Qualifications & insights:
- Strong understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding (Working Together Guidelines), and risk management protocols.
- Expertise in writing person-centred care assessments and case notes.
- Ability to supervise and support care staff at client homes.
- Soft skills:
- Exceptional verbal + written communication to mediate diverse stakeholders.
- Empathy and diplomacy – ability to facilitate delicate conversations with clients and professionals.
- Practical requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle (company does not provide a vehicle allowance).
- Must be based within commuting distance of London for in-person visits.
- Tech proficiency:
- Confident using digital care management systems (e.g., Carma, SQL**.
- Microsoft Office Essentials (Excel pivot tables, advanced Word formatting,arer reports).
