Care Professional – Home Instead Walsall & Great Barr
Company Description
Are you a caring, compassionate individual looking to make a real difference in your local community? Home Instead Walsall & Great Barr is seeking dedicated Care Professions to join our growing team. We provide high-quality, person-centred care that enables older adults to remain independent and comfortable in their own homes.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting others and committed to delivering outstanding care. We can consider applicants requiring Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship, subject to meeting eligibility requirements.
Working Hours
Applicants must be fully flexible and available to work between 07:00am – 11:00pm, Monday to Sunday. This role includes a mixture of morning, daytime, evening, and alternate weekend shifts.

Job Description
Your Responsibilities
As a Care Professional, your key duties will include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Assisting with hygiene, dressing, and toileting needs
- Preparing meals and supporting nutrition and hydration
- Managing medication reminders
- Carrying out light housekeeping and domestic tasks
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, social activities, and community events
- Supporting individuals living with dementia and other specialist care needs
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times
Qualifications & Experience

- Delivery Driving
- Community-Based Roles
The most valuable qualities include kindness, reliability, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
Applicants currently holding a Skilled Worker Visa with valid leave to remain in the UK for at least the next year are encouraged to apply.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Full flexibility between 07:00am and 11:00pm
- Excellent communication skills
- A caring and compassionate nature
- Commitment to providing exceptional standards of care
- Either:
- The right to work in the UK, or
- Eligibility for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship
