About the Role
As a Care Services Partner, your job is to provide a single point of contact for care home customers, ensuring excellent customer care while leading the operational running of the care services pharmacy. You will work in partnership with local stakeholders to deliver outstanding service to care services users while working onsite and reporting to the store manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan the Care Services workload to ensure the team delivers excellent care.
- Collaborate with a network of around 40 care homes, store teams, and GP surgeries to support retention of existing homes and attract new customers.
- Resolve queries and issues raised by care homes efficiently.
- Support dispensing duties, including:
- Labeling
- Priming
- Preparing MARR sheets
- Ordering
- Dispensing
- Endorsing
- Checking prescriptions
- Collecting prescriptions
- Work alongside the Regional Business Manager as a local ambassador for Boots, assisting with securing new business.
- Operate across all areas of the pharmacy in the store, including the healthcare counter.

Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- NVQ2 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
- Experience in problem-solving within healthcare—focusing on delivering the best possible support for customers.
Desirable Skills and Experience (Not Essential)
- NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent)
- A full driving licence (due to required home visits)
