Care Supervisor

Location: Basingstoke & Newbury

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 dependant on experience plus on call £1,950 PA

Hours: Office full-time hours Monday - Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm with on-call duties of 1 in 8 weekends on average

Responsibilities

As a Care Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • To ensure Bluebird Care provides safe, effective, high-quality care that is responsive to each customer’s needs and preferences
  • To ensure our services respect customers’ choices and always promote their dignity and privacy.
  • Ensure all care plans are compliant, person-centered, and bespoke to the customer's needs and preferences
  • Complete new customer assessments and reviews on current customers
  • Support with coordination
  • Support with monitoring of care professionals and ensure compliance
  • Fulfill On Call duties of 1 in 8 weekends on average

Requirements

  • You must be caring and compassionate towards people in need of care and support those who require these services
  • A full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Provide excellent customer service with a smile, being supportive and calm, you’ll be highly organised and enjoy communicating with your colleagues and customers.
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience working in domiciliary care an NVQ3 in health and social care is preferred
  • Show initiative and complete agreed actions, working as part of our team to achieve business outcomes together
  • A proactive and enthusiastic attitude with a drive to continually learn and improve.
  • Must have the Right To Work in the UK
  • Be an ambassador for Bluebird Care and always align with our vision to always make our customers smile by creating a respectful environment where outstanding care professionals feel valued and are supported to deliver outstanding care
