The Vacancy

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a professional Care Supervisor to join the team at our prestigious Kings Place development in Fleet, Hampshire.

Hourly rate: £16.25 per hour for day shifts and £12.65 SLEEPING night shifts per hour. Plus receive an extra £1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday

Hours: 25.25 per week (includes a mix of day shifts and sleeping night shifts)

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

Built in 2015, Kings Place is a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 63 apartments with the over 70's in mind, providing excellent on-site facilities and set within beautiful grounds.

About You

You will be a warm, friendly, organised, and self-motivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills. You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience. Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners, and overseeing the Care and Support teams. Able to co-ordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development. Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet. Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
