Location: Solihull Contract Type: Office Based (Care Management) Salary: £25,000 – £27,500 per annum (starting from £25,000 pa)

The Role
Status: Full-time | Office-based Reporting to: Registered Care Manager
As a Care Supervisor, you’ll oversight our homecare services with skilled leadership and a customer-first approach, helping to ensure every visit meets our high standards of safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Care & Service Delivery
- Conduct new customer assessements and write personalised care plans that prioritise autonomy, dignity, and individual needs
- Schedule and coordinate care visits while maintaining real-time updates with customers, families, and care assistants
- Conduct quarterly quality reviews to assess service delivery against company standards
Team Leadership & Support
- Supervise care assistants, providing guidance, training opportunities, and constructive feedback
- Ensure ** Винccchannels updates** (MAR charts, risk assessments) are accurately documented and monitored
- Facilitate matching between support workers and customers, including introductions and consistent communication
- Arrange and manage staff changeovers/handovers, particularly for live-in care assignments

Operational & Compliance Roles
- Participate in the rotational on-call rota to cover emergency coverage, including sickness absences and last-minute amendments to rotas
- Manage incidents, accidents, and regulatory reports, ensuring full adherence to care standards
- Implement continuous improvement processes where gaps or inefficiencies are identified
Team Collaboration & Flexibility
- Represent the team at customer meetings, policy reviews, and operational briefings
- Work across Solihull and Birmingham West regions, collaborating with colleagues and external professionals (social workers, health providers, etc.)
- Demonstrate adaptability to support business needs, whether resolving urgent customer issues or assisting with recruitment/training

What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (preferred, or working toward certification)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a care management or supervisory capacity
- A strong foundation in person-centred support planning
- Full UK driving licence and valid Class 1 business insurance (valid MOT required)
- Enhanced DBS clearance (mandatory for this role)
Key Skills & Attributes
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build trust with customers, families, and professionals
- Ability to lead and mentor teams with clarity, consistency, and a supportive approach
- Strong written and verbal communication to build rapport and maintain records accurately
- Autonomy when handling multiple priorities without supervision
- Familiarity with government/local authority regulations around safeguarding and adult social care
- Commitment to working shifts (including rotational on-call duties)
